You have the right to remain silent, use it.

We all know the start to the “Miranda warnings”… you have the right to remain silent… but in my experience, most clients have a hard time exercising that right. Some say, ” I didn’t think I did anything wrong, why not talk to the police?” There are two videos made at a Florida Law school discussing this very thing. The first is a Law professor and former criminal defense attorney and the second is a former police detective and law student. They are a little long, but worth the time.
